Account Manager/ Insurance Broker - Professional Risks

By moving into this specialist role, you will be able to specialize in a Growing market within Insurance and build meaningful relationships with key players from within the brokerage and with the market insurers and agencies. 

30% of your time will be Managing your own SME based portfolio within professional clients - IT Consultants, Construction professionals, Financial Services, Allied Health etc. across professional risks and some general lines. PLUS 
70% of your time will be placing a wider range of Professional Risks across both the SME and Mid-Market Sectors for the General Insurance Teams. The industries will be aligned to the above mentioned plus miscellaneous risks. 
  
This Brokerage has a strong reputation within the Victorian market and has a strong leadership cohort who will be able to guide and assist you with your day-to-day role and your own personal career development. 
They provide tailored career development plans and allow you to participate in CPD point events and have regular inhouse training sessions of all facets of the industry. 

This role will provide two opportunities for development, firstly to be able to work on more complex accounts with the Head of Professional Risks and secondly to be promoted within the team into a 2IC position. 

Some day-to-day duties will include 

• Liaison with clients and underwriters regarding new business, quotations, renewals and endorsements
• Ability to Build strong internal and client relationships and work collaboratively

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following

• General Insurance Broking Experience servicing and supporting a commercial book of business end to end with an interest or prior experience within Professional Risks
• Relevant Industry qualifications
