Business Analyst/Project Manager / Operations Manager $150K-160K + Super

My client is an international insurer operating in over 20 counties globally and has a smaller but growing operation within Australia in the commercial insurance sector. 

Do to business growth, regulatory requirements and current projects a newly created position is required with the responsibility of

• Leading a number of key projects in both the IT and Non IT areas of the business
• Managing vendors for IT related projects including a cloud migration
• Ensuring regulatory requirements (APRA) are met through all projects
• Completion risk assessment and ongoing compliance and risk monitoring
• Leading business projects including - CPS 230 and 234 implementation
• Liaison between vendors and technology teams locally and internationally

We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate

• Prior experience in leading projects in both IT and NON IT related fields in either a project manager / BA or operations role
• A strong knowledge of Commercial Insurance and in particular the regulatory environment within Insurance 
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• A fine attention to detail
• Experience of working (and ideally managing) external vendors
• Ability to speak Japanese (desired but not essential)
