Claims Case Manager | Super & Statutory Claims

Ensure Recruitment is partnering with a major Australian organisation as it grows a permanent claims function within a Defined Benefit environment. You will manage around 40–50 active matters, owning the claim through evidence gathering, assessment and outcome.

What you will do

• Manage claims end-to-end
• Gather and assess medical, employment and supporting evidence
• Identify gaps and obtain further information
• Assess eligibility, capacity and invalidity
• Prepare clear written decisions or recommendations
• Speak directly with members, representatives and families
• Manage physical, psychological and other sensitive claims

Who this suits

We are specifically looking for experienced claims professionals from one of these environments:

• Superannuation claims, including disability / TPD / Member claims
• Workers Compensation or Self-insurance
• Comcare / SRC Act
• DVA / Veterans Compensation
• Eligibility, liability or other statutory claims

Must-have experience

• Current or recent end-to-end claims case management
• Evidence gathering and assessment, not just claims administration
• Direct member/customer contact, including difficult conversations
• Eligibility, liability, benefit or claim-decision exposure
• Clear written reasoning and sound judgement
• Australian Citizenship essential 

If your experience is mainly lodgement, triage, administration or only one part of the claim journey, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.

Members may be dealing with significant illness or injury, psychological conditions, incapacity, bereavement or veteran-related circumstances. Empathy matters, but so does being able to progress the claim, make a considered decision and explain it clearly.
