Common Law Personal Injury Specialist - CTP
09-4-26 Sydney / Permanent
Up to $95,000 + super + bonus | Permanent | Immediate interviews
If you’re working in personal injury, claims or legal support and want to step into a more complex, decision-driven role, this is a strong opportunity.
This is not a processing role. You’ll manage your own portfolio of CTP personal injury claims within a common law environment, making informed decisions based on legislation, medical evidence and claim strategy.
You’ll be trusted to own your claims and deliver fair, timely outcomes for customers during critical moments.
Working within a well-established national insurer, you’ll join a close-knit, high-performing team with strong leadership and clear career pathways.
Why this role is different:
• Exposure to common law claims
• True end-to-end ownership of your portfolio
• Strong team culture with experienced leadership
• Opportunity to develop legal and technical claims capability
• Clear progression into senior or specialist pathways
What you’ll be doing:
• Managing a portfolio of CTP personal injury claims from lodgement through to settlement
• Reviewing medical, financial and rehabilitation reports
• Interpreting legislation and making liability and strategy decisions
• Liaising with claimants, solicitors, and healthcare providers
• Driving claims forward with a focus on outcomes and customer experience
• Maintaining accurate documentation and meeting service standards
What we’re looking for:
Experience in personal injury, insurance or legal environments.
Backgrounds we are open to include:
• Personal Injury Paralegals / Legal Assistants
• CTP or Workers Compensation Claims
• Allied health or rehabilitation backgrounds
You will also bring:
• Strong decision-making and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• High attention to detail and organisation
• Resilience in a fast-paced environment
What you’ll get:
• Salary up to $95,000 + super + bonus
• Hybrid working (2–3 days from home)
• Structured training and ongoing development
• Career progression within a large, stable organisation
• Supportive leadership and collaborative team
If you’re looking to step into a role where you can build technical expertise, gain exposure to complex claims and progress your career, this is well worth a conversation.
