External Loss Adjuster - Farm/SME/Residential

What the role involves:

• Providing field-based assessment and investigation of farm/SME/residential insurance losses
• Travelling to country locations
• Liaising with policyholders concerning their claims
  Examining claims forms, policies and endorsements, client instructions, and other records to determine coverage
• Investigating claims by interviewing claimants and witnesses, obtaining official reports, inspecting physical damage, and comparing claim information with evidence
• Writing a full report following the investigation with reasons for any areas not covered with full explanation
• Set loss reserves and control claims costs
• Working independently throughout a regional area, your home will be your base
• Interacting with peers in other rural locals to discuss claims and receive support where needed

What you will bring:

• Previous experience within an adjusting role, or similar environment
• The motivation to work independently without an office base, but full online support is always available
• Ability to produce reports for the insurer to evaluate losses
• Experience in building strong relationships with stakeholders and potential future business partners
• A passion for adjusting work
