This role is ideal for a relationship-driven broker who enjoys face-to-face client engagement, strategic account management, and working across a diverse range of clients.

The Opportunity:

You will take ownership of an established portfolio of mid-market clients (approx. $1M–$200M turnover), delivering tailored insurance solutions while identifying opportunities for growth.
Working closely with the Mid Market Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in retention, development, and new business, supported by a strong internal structure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-market clients
  • Build strong, long-term relationships through proactive engagement
  • Deliver tailored insurance solutions across a range of products
  • Handle renewals, remarketing, and new business opportunities
  • Negotiate with insurers to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Identify and convert growth opportunities within the portfolio
  • Oversee financial management including budgets and debtors
  • Mentor and support junior team members
About You:
  • 8+ years’ experience in insurance broking / account management
  • Strong background across general insurance
  • Proven ability to manage and grow a portfolio
  • Confident communicator who thrives in a client-facing role
  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development
  • Tier 1 qualified (preferred)
