Insurance Broker | SME–Corporate Portfolio | Sydney | Full Time Join a growing insurance brokerage managing a diverse portfolio across
SME, mid-market, and corporate commercial clients.
We are seeking an experienced
Insurance Broker to take ownership of an established portfolio and play a key role in both
client retention and new business growth. This is a hands-on role with strong client exposure and real autonomy across the broking lifecycle.
You’ll work closely with clients and insurers to deliver tailored general insurance solutions across a wide range of industries, while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.
What You’ll Be Doing - Manage a portfolio of SME to corporate commercial insurance clients
- Build and grow client relationships through proactive service and advice
- Prepare and present insurance quotes, submissions, and renewal reports
- Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive outcomes for clients
- Manage renewals, endorsements, and ongoing policy adjustments
- Identify new business opportunities within existing and prospective clients
- Support clients through claims in coordination with internal teams
- Maintain accurate client and policy records across systems
- Assist with invoicing and basic debtor management
About You You are a confident Insurance Broker who enjoys managing relationships and delivering solutions, not just processing policies.
You will bring:
- Experience in general insurance broking or underwriting (essential)
- Strong knowledge of SME and/or commercial insurance
- RG146 compliance or equivalent technical capability
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage a busy portfolio and prioritise effectively
- High attention to detail and strong ownership of your work
- Comfortable working with clients, insurers, and internal teams
