The Role:In this role as a Public Liability Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for managing casualty claims within your delegated authority, leveraging your experience in civil claims management, whilst handling more complex claims with the guidance of your leaders, senior peers, and legal providers.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage casualty claims, providing expert advice, support, and guidance to customers for timely and cost-effective outcomes.
- Follow and uphold casualty claims processes and systems, ensuring fair, consistent, and responsive service.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Assess policy coverage, liability, and quantum of claims, setting and executing resolution strategies.
Skills and Experience: - Proven experience in managing public liability/casualty claims portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, legislation, and litigation practices related to casualty claims.
- Ability to provide efficient, professional claims service.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
