What You’re Walking Into

The work is complex enough to stay interesting, but the role is deliberately structured so claims can be assessed properly during the day. Portfolios are controlled, expectations are realistic, and senior judgement is trusted rather than second-guessed.

While the role sits within Group Claims, it will also appeal to Retail assessors looking to step into a more stable, team-based environment without sacrificing professional standards or challenge.

This is a role designed for longevity. It rewards experience, values good decision-making, and avoids the churn that often comes with so-called senior positions.

How the Role Is Structured

• Claims are allocated with balance and intent, not simply volume
• Decision-making sits with the assessor, not layered approvals

The intent of this role is to broaden your contribution withing a few months through mentoring, technical input or project work, but the core of the role remains claims-focused and sustainable.

• Experienced Life Insurance Claims assessor at a senior level
• Comfortable managing complexity and sensitive matters
• Confident, steady communicator with stakeholders
• Looking for a role that respects time, judgement and experience
