A specialist insurance provider operating within the construction and property sector is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate growth and market engagement across its portfolio of insurance solutions.
 
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of insurance, property development and construction, engaging with senior industry leaders and contributing to how risk is managed across major projects.
 
What You'll Be Doing
As a senior member of the sales and development team, you'll play a key role in expanding the organisation's presence across the market.
 
You'll:

• Build strategic relationships with developers, builders, lenders and property professionals
• Lead high-value commercial discussions with C-suite and senior decision makers
• Identify and convert complex opportunities across large-scale developments
• Deliver presentations and market education sessions to industry stakeholders
• Represent the business at industry forums and events
• Collaborate with brokers, marketing and operations to deliver strong client outcomes
• Contribute to national growth strategy and mentor members of the sales team

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in business development, distribution, insurance broking or strategic account management
• Background in general insurance, construction insurance is a plus 
• Strong industry relationships within construction, development, lending or broking networks
• Experience managing complex commercial opportunities or major clients
• Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strategic, commercially driven and comfortable operating at a senior level
