Role Overview:

• Manage a portfolio of self-insured workers' compensation claims
• Make initial liability decisions
• Mentor junior staff, supported by full administrative assistance
• Engage with stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and medical professionals
• Develop and implement RTW plans and case strategies
• Ensure decisions comply with legislative requirements

Your Profile:

• Extensive experience in case management under QLD Legislation
• Ideally, experience in Self-Insurance (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong understanding of legislation, with the ability to apply it effectively
• Experience with both front and tail claims portfolios (preferred but not essential)
• Proven track record of achieving successful RTW outcomes
• A true passion for case management and community involvement
