The Opportunity

This is a pivotal role within a national provider redefining how psychological recovery is delivered. As Senior Clinical Advisor, you’ll lead clinical performance and uplift national capability through meaningful, values-aligned leadership. Reporting to the Head of Psychological Services, this position blends strategic oversight, hands-on mentorship, and high-impact program development.

  • Lead With Purpose – Shape clinical frameworks, set service benchmarks, and embed a continuous improvement mindset across multiple programs
  • Grow Exceptional People – Onboard, develop and inspire a high-performing cohort of psychologists and registrars
  • Protect What Matters – Oversee clinical audits, risk controls and governance activity to safeguard quality and reputation
  • Champion Complexity – Offer expert input on high-risk cases, support decision-making, and elevate clinical confidence across the team
  • Collaborate at the Top – Influence strategy alongside business leaders, analysts, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, innovation and measurable outcomes
What Sets You Apart
  • AHPRA-registered Clinical Psychologist with clinical endorsement (greater than 5 years is essential)
  • Board-approved supervisor (or close to it), with a proven track record in capability uplift and team support
  • Experience leading program quality, clinical governance, or scaling service delivery across multiple regions
  • Well-versed in evidence-based modalities (CBT, EMDR, ACT, trauma-informed approaches)
  • Respected for your balance of clinical insight, strategic thinking and authentic leadership - without the ego! 
  • Exposure to the compensable injury or rehabilitation sector is welcomed, but not essential
