The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Broker with a background in construction insurance to manage and grow a portfolio within the latent defects space.

This is a client-facing, technically focused role where you will take ownership of a portfolio, working closely with developers, builders, and key stakeholders across the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of latent defects / construction clients
• Handle renewals, remarketing, and new business placements
• Prepare detailed insurer submissions and technical reports
• Negotiate terms with insurers for complex construction risks
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters
• Identify opportunities to expand and strengthen existing accounts
• Support clients through the lifecycle of policies, including claims liaison
• Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and system management

About You:

• Proven experience in insurance broking, with a construction focus
• Exposure to or strong interest in latent defects insurance
• Solid understanding of construction-related risks and placements
• Tier 1 (RG146) qualification preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage a portfolio autonomously
• High attention to detail in a technical environment
