Senior Liability Claims Specialist

THE ROLE:

• Working closely with a team of experienced public liability claims managers, you will manage claims from end to end. 
• Mentor a more junior team member
• Determining liability on claims and providing recommendations for future claims strategies 
• Ensuring the best possible outcome in all targets: QA, Customer, Quality, and Financial
• Conducting legal reviews on litigated claims with service providers
• Attending external meetings, court cases
• Manage claims in line with procedures 
• Conduct investigations regarding liability and medical issues
• Collaborating with all stakeholders 

KEY CRITERIA:  

• 2-3 years of experience managing public liability claims 
• Legal qualifications (essential) 
• Experience in managing litigated claims (highly desirable)
• A Solid understanding of the Insurance Code of Practice and Insurance Contracts Act 
• Confident interpersonal/communication skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• End-to-end claims management experience
