About The Role:

• Managing a public liability team across various states, you will be confident in managing and supporting from a distance
• Responsible for more complex, sensitive claims to ensure cost impacts are minimised and a positive outcome is achieved, managing escalated cases
• Upskilling, mentoring, and coaching team members, working with them on claims strategies, and managing challenging situations
• Overseeing client relationships and undertaking claims reviews, discussing any red flags, patterns, and how the claims are being managed
• Undertaking monthly reporting and identifying continuous improvement opportunities

 
What You Will Bring:

• Experience in mentoring and coaching staff, not necessarily as a Team Leader, but as a Senior in your team
• Strong understanding and technical knowledge of public liability/casualty claims
• Coming from an insurer, TPA, or self-insurer employer
• Believes in working as a team, listening to everyone's ideas, and getting the work done together
• A passion for what you do and getting the best out of your team, ensuring they are enjoying their work and feeling valued
