We are currently working with a leading organisation based in Auckland’s North Shore, who require an Information Security Lead. This is a brand-new position due to significant growth. My client will consider bringing in a contractor on a 6-month duration whilst the right permanent profile is found.

This position is broad from implementing security processes in both Azure and O365, designing and implementing security controls, architecture and BAU work.
  
You will help lead Information Security initiatives across the company, responsible for systems health with regards to Information Security, and will hold a strong Cyber security focus. Working closely with the Senior Information Security Manager, you will take all necessary actions to  ensure the delivery of an agreed plan of change that positively impacts the security status of the business is progressively and continuously rolled out, at the same time taking care to ensure that security measures remain relevant and up to date.

  
Key Experience:

• 5+ years in an Information Security management role

• Demonstrated experience in building, managing and developing IT Systems and Information Security policies & practices

• Strong experience of managing internal teams and external vendors

• Strong ability to drive engagement, secure buy-in and influence stakeholders

• Good working knowledge of frameworks such as NZISM, HISO and ISO27001

• Strong communication skills
