Regional Manager - NSW

The business is one largest claims management businesses in Australia and they are looking for experienced claims and operational leaders, who are well respected in the industry, to lead a growing team focusing on domestic and commercial property claims. These newly created roles, report to the Head Of Regional who will encourage you to think innovatively and make this role you own. Managing 11 branches your role will be to manage the financial, people and service performance of your branches and develop new business opportunities for your territory.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide effective financial and resource performance for the QLD Regional Operation to ensure the operation meets client and customer demands and consistently delivers great service
  • To manage the P+L for the QLD Regional Operation – actively track revenue and spend to ensure revenue and profit targets met
  • Business Performance reviews and management (in conjunction with Head of Regional)
  • Overview of monthly adjuster performance, in conjunction with Head of Regional
  • Management of branches and regional service providers in association with the Branch Managers
  • Hiring of new adjusters in conjunction with Head of Regional
  • Ensure staff in the region comply with the requirements of the General Insurance Code of practice
  • Co-ordination of the necessary response to any complaints or escalations including defining and implementing actions to avoid complaints occurring in the future
  • Ensure all staff complete company induction training, KMC and online courses prior to completion dates
  • Coordinate the catastrophe response including staffing, process, onboarding and training of temporary staff and all other activities associated with Crawford’s catastrophe response
  • Maintain and build relationships with current client base
  • Identify and development of new accounts and clients 
  • Attend industry functions, as required
  • Liaison with major suppliers
  • Meet goals set by Head of Regional, Head of Property and President - Australia.
About You/Requirements:
  • Positive outlook, solution-focused and a strong relationship builder with the ability to influence at all levels 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and business growth
  • Significant insurance claims handling and business operations experience 
  • Additional tertiary qualification as relevant to specialty e.g. Accounting, Law, Engineering, preferred but not mandatory
  • Drivers Licence
  • Strong management and organisational skills
