Job Description
Key Responsibilities include:
Business Development:
• Develop a process for lead generation of large and major hospitality, tourism and sport business prospects
• Establish working relationships with key C-Suite decision makers at major prospective employers
• On the successful acquisition of a prospective employer, manage the transitioning of key relationship responsibilities to the relevant Account Manager
• Sell the firms superannuation and related financial products to prospective employers, as well as individual managers, management groups and owners of businesses
• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant individuals within the sponsoring organisations and industry associations
• Achieve sales targets, across the various measures, as specified
Compliance:
• Undertake ongoing training required to be an Approved Representative of Hostplus. This is compulsory to comply with the ASIC regulatory requirement RG146 to allow approved representatives to provide general financial advice
To be considered:
- Proven BDM experience within Superannuation with a focus on new business
- Knowledge of the industrial relations environment and superannuation issues (eg. State/Federal Awards, EBAs and other instruments)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including report writing skills)
