Job Description

Our client is a CBD based brokerage who is seeking a permanent addition to the team. The primary focus of this role will be to alleviate pressure on the team from a processing and claims perspective. 

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role in the insurance industry and be intuitive, process orientated and committed to delivering the best customer service.

Main responsibilities include: 
  • Processing of claims including preparing between the business, clients and underwriters
  • Updating of Claims Status Reports
  • Ensure a consistently high level of service and professionalism
  • Liaising with insurers and other interested parties to close open claims 
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Assist with all aspects of broking including quotations, new business, endorsements, cancellations, renewals and certificates of currency
  • Build exceptional relationships with corporate clients
  • Use your technical knowledge to handle enquiries
  • Maintain relationships with insurers and get the best possible insurance quotes
 Skills and Experience:
  • Understanding and knowledge of Insurance environment
  • Computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team
  • Professional, friendly and courteous manner
  • Must have claims experience  
  • Undertake appropriate activities to achieve/maintain compliance
  • Acquire a sound knowledge of clients' industries, businesses and risks
  • Acquire knowledge of the Insurance industry and market
  • Tier 2 preferred but not mandatory
