Commercial Account Executive

This is a hands-on role which will see you spending 50% of your time out of the office building strong client and insurer relationships.  We are seeking applications from candidates who enjoy converting new opportunities and developing long-standing relationships.
  
The role:

  • Service and growth of an existing portfolio of SME and mid-market clients
  • Negotiating new and renewal premiums
  • Preparing professional reports and presentations
  • Regularly attend client visits to maximise up-sell/x-sell opportunities and generate referrals
  • Attend industry networking events and maintain strong insurer relationships
  • Claims and debtor management
About you:
  • Tier 1 Qualified Insurance Broker
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a client facing role
  • Strong technical product knowledge across all classes of general insurance
  • Effective communication skills to foster and develop internal and external relationships
  • Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
