Job Description
The Role:
- Lodging new claims over the phone and on email
- Determining liability
- Managing the claim through to settlement negotiations
- Entering data and maintaining accurate customer information
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring claims progress in a timely manner
- Previous experience in a claims role - broker or insurer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport and develop strong working relationships
- Thorough understanding of Australian Road Rules
- Good understanding of common and civil law
