Job Description
What you will thrive on in this role:
- Using your strong legal/claims knowledge to deal with large, complex commercial property claims
- Evaluating damage and quantum on the claim
- Liaising with clients, brokers, underwriters, and counsel building strong stakeholder relationships
- Identifying potential fraud on claims
- Fully controlling the end to end claims process
- Monitoring costs of vendors
- Reporting internally on large loss claims
- Ensuring all reports are in line with the claims and undertaking investigations when required
Your experience:
- With several years of experience within a Paralegal role in property, or in a complex Commercial Property Claims role in insurance
- Used to negotiating with multiple stakeholders and gathering relevant information
- Investigative experience when information received is not in line with the claim
- Comfortable working face to face, via phone, video conference, with clients
