You will have previous experience in Desktop Support role within an enterprise environment with experience supporting O365, AD, Skype and AV, as well as experience with ServiceNow. Solid understanding of current Windows & Mac OS versions, knowledge of computer networking and good understanding of anti-virus and desktop security products. Solid understanding of ITIL processes such as incident management process is a must. There is an on-call component based on a rotating roster.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Setup and configure Desktop & Laptop PCs within the Standard Operating Environment.
- Installation, removal, configuration and ongoing usability of approved desktop software for SOE devices and configure peripherals and software according to security standards and guidelines.
- The role will assist the IT Service Desk by providing 1st and 2nd Level Support and provide onsite/offsite and remote support to users for cases escalated by the IT Service Desk.
- Provide training to users on use of Desktop hardware and software as well as install, troubleshoot and maintain the IP telephony system.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Desktop Support role within an enterprise environment with experience supporting O365 suite, experience with ServiceNow, active directory, Skype technology and AV support. Solid understanding of current Windows & Mac OS.
