Your role will be vital in contributing to the team's success as you coach and develop stakeholders at all levels.

The role of Dispute Resolution Officer will see you responsible for:
  • Managing a team of Specialist, dealing with Home and Contents and Consumer Credit disputes
  • Providing technical expertise, reviewing and providing instructions on problematic cases
  • Assisting Senior Managers with involved matters
  • Providing feedback on dispute activity and developing trends to Senior Management, ensuring appropriate action is taken
  • Working with team members to review KPI's, set targets, provide feedback and improve performance
  • Undertaking Dispute Resolution reporting
  • Suggesting any necessary amendments to business process in line with the General Insurance Code of Practice
  • Provide feedback to areas of the business when issues identified during dispute review
  • Taking part in internal/external audits
You will be able to demonstrate:
  • Strong team leadership, encouraging best performance in the team
  • A customer centric approach at all times
  • The ability to provide feedback to senior level stakeholders
  • Technical expertise in managing domestic claims and consumer credit disputes, from a Claims/Product Team Manger role
  • Alternatively you could be working at a senior level within Internal Dispute Resolution within financial services
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in Liaising with the Financial Ombudsman Service
  • Legal or mediation experience is highly desirable
