Job Description

Our client is a market leader who continues to grow rapidly amidst the acquisitions and merges happening within the Life Insurance Industry. They are looking for two engaged claims assessors to join their fantastic team!

Key responsibilities in the role:
  • Manage an end-to-end portfolio of claims focusing on Income Protection (IP) OR Total Permanent Disability (TPD)
  • Full Assessment of new claims and ongoing claims including financial and medical assessment.
  • Stakeholder management and negotiating payments.
  • Developing claims strategies including injury management and rehabilitation
All we need from you is:
  • At least 12 months of Life Insurance claims experience OR at least 18 months of complex Workers Compensation/CTP claims experience
  • Allied health or legal background are advantageous but not necessary
  • Exceptional financial and medical assessment skills
  • Sound decision making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • High attention to detail
