The role of Head of Contract Management - Hospital Network and Medical benefits will see you responsible for:
  • Leading a highly specialist team of negotiation managers, stakeholder relationship manager, benefits leakage team and administration team
  • Negotiation of multi-million dollar contracts with hospitals for the provision of healthcare services 
  • Development of new and innovative solutions that provide enhanced benefits to my clients customers in the provision of healthcare services
  • Building exceptional relationships at CFO/CEO levels within private hospitals, hospital groups, medical specialists and other providers
  • Driving value for money in a claims spend of almost $2 billion
  • Driving new and innovative contracts that deliver the best possible patient care
You will be able to demonstrate
  • Extensive contract negotiation experience at the $100M + level within the healthcare sector
  • A comprehensive understanding of the Australian health system
  • An understanding of regulation and legal framework relating to Health Insurance within Australia
  • An excellent understanding of how procurement works within hospital networks relating to patient care
  • Experience of leading and developing teams in contract negotiations, contract management and building effective relationships at CFO/CEO level as well as senior procurement teams
  • An ability to drive innovation through contract negotiation to move to a value-based care model rewarding quality outcomes
  • An ability to build and drive effective relationships in a partnership approach with hospitals and specialist medical providers
