Life Claims Team Manager

A key player in Australia's life insurance industry are looking for an experienced life claims professional with strong leadership skills to join their close knit team as a Team Manager. You will be managing a team of 9 high performing Claims Assessors and will responsible for the overall achievement of the team, productivity, service levels and claims outcomes. This is a role where you can truly make an impact on the business. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Monitoring team performance; identifying skills gaps and up-skilling, conducting 1-1 meetings, performance management
  • Overall leadership and ongoing development of the team
  • Monitoring team targets and SLA's against the code of conduct 
  • Managing workflow / delegating work
  • Proactively engaging with key stakeholders 
  • Involvement in process improvement initiatives as required
