Job Description
I am working on behalf of a household name in the life insurance industry and am looking for an experienced Retail Claims Assessor to take on a portfolio of complex claims.

- You will be managing a portfolio of complex high risk life insurance claims
- You will be managing a mixed portfolio of complex physical and psychological claims

- Liaising with stakeholders including treating health practitioners to develop sustainable return to work plans
- Experience in Life Insurance claims assessment
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
- Experience of working within a team environment and taking direction
- Experience in reading medical reports and liaising with treating practitioners
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Confident and articulate and not afraid to have difficult conversations
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to understand the needs of the Claimant in order to promote sustainable return to work
