The Role:
You will be joining a passionate team who are focused on helping injured workers get their lives back on track after a workplace injury. Which will require a high level of strategic thinking and decision making.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of claims
- Determining liability
- Calculating compensation
- Providing technical advice to key stakeholders
- Working towards set KPIs and timeframes
- Attend conciliations as required
- Foster key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- adhering to legislative requirements
- Demonstrated experience in managing a portfolio of claims for either a self insurer or agent in the front end team
- Sound understanding of the victorian based workers compensation legislation
- Sound understanding of the Accident Compensation ACT 1985
- Sound decision making skills
- Ability to foster strong relationships with all stakeholders
