Job Description

Ensure Recruitment are partnering with a Self Insurer based in Melbourne and are looking for an experienced Front-end / Return to Work Case Manager to join their high performing team. The Role: 

You will be joining a passionate team who are focused on helping injured workers get their lives back on track after a workplace injury. Which will require a high level of strategic thinking and decision making. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Managing a portfolio of claims 
  • Determining liability 
  • Calculating compensation 
  • Providing technical advice to key stakeholders 
  • Working towards set KPIs and timeframes
  • Attend conciliations as required 
  • Foster key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • adhering to legislative requirements     
Skills and Experience Required: 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a portfolio of claims for either a self insurer or agent in the front end team 
  • Sound understanding of the victorian based workers compensation legislation 
  • Sound understanding of the Accident Compensation ACT 1985
  • Sound decision making skills
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with all stakeholders
