Senior Claims Assessor

Join a leader in the life insurance industry as a Senior Claims Assessor; managing a small portfolio of life insurance claims as well as acting as 2IC to the Team Manager and providing technical support to the team with regard to claims strategies

You will:
  • Conduct high quality, accurate and timely claims assessments and file reviews
  • Coach, mentor and train a team of Assessors 
  • Assisting with up-skilling the team 
  • Peer reviewing claims 
  • Identifying areas for improvement 
  • Supporting management 
What we need from you:
  • Extensive experience in the Group OR Retail space , across all products ideally
  • Sound decision making skills and outstanding medical and financial assessment skills
  • Appropriate judgement on complex and high value cases
  • File review and coaching experience
  • Allied health or legal backgrounds will be highly regarded
