Job Description

Join an industry leader in a specialist role within the Defined Benefits team, assisting the Team Manager and providing support to a team of Administrators.

Key responsibilities: 
  • Building and maintaining solid working relationships with trustees and other key stakeholders 
  • Managing workflow and allocating work within the team 
  • Quality reviewing team members work
  • Providing constructive feedback where appropriate 
  • Coaching and mentoring Administrators in the team 
  • Managing complaints and escalations appropriately 
  • Ensuring that the team are working within the the fund and legislative requirements 
  • Assisting the team with benefit payments, member applications, correspondence, contributions and employer applications
  • Identifying areas to improve the process where appropriate            
  • Demonstrated experience in defined benefits 
  • Solid working knowledge of superannuation legislation and procedures 
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring a team 
  • People skills 
  • Ability to think outside the box
