Our client is a progressive organisation in the financial services market currently experiencing significant growth. To provide the best service to their clients and the develop the team to be the best we are seeking an experienced team leader/manager to manage and develop this team.
This role is suited to a passionate team leader/manager from a life insurance (Retail Life Insurance) looking to secure their future and make in name in the Sydney market.
Reporting to the claims manager, you will;

Your background will include;
- Manage and support a team of claims assessors
- Staff Development - coaching/mentoring and technical training
- Assist with the reporting to senior management team
- Handling escalations and stakeholder management
- Process improvement and project based work
- Demonstrated people management experience in retail life insurance claims assessment
- Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Process improvement and project experience (desirable)
- Exceptional technical skills and knowledge of Life Insurance Claims including Income Protection & Total Permanent Disability
