Job Description
Reporting to the Commercial Claims Manager, this is a key role within the team. You will be responsible for effectively managing your own portfolio, whilst providing mentoring and assistance to the claims team. You will be delivering a high quality and proactive service to your clients and brokers and be involved in the technical development of others in the team.
The role:
- Effectively manage your own complex portfolio of ISR / Business package claims
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Review claims Consultants decisions for quality and accuracy
- Be empathetic towards and be understanding of the customer
- Liaise and negotiate with assessors, trades people, insurers and customers
- Provide technical support and advice to less-experienced team members
- 5 years+ experience in commercial property claims
- Customer focused with the ability to balance competing priorities
- Credibility to lead claims with confidence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Energy and determination to succeed
