Job Description
The role is a hybrid role and will involve identifying trends within the book of claims and developing appropriate strategies in order to manage the portfolio efficiently, as well as identifying skill gaps and facilitating appropriate training and identifying areas for improvement within the business and implementing changes where necessary.

The Role
- Conducting formal quality audits/file reviews
- Identifying trends within the book of claims
- Identifying skill gaps and facilitating appropriate training
- Coaching and mentoring and training a team of Assessors and Seniors
- Technical point of contact for advice on claims strategies in particular with regards to complex claims
- Providing on-going support to Claims Assessors and Senior Assessors
- Looking at technical claims strategies
- Making recommendations for areas of improvement
- Involvement in projects around claims to improve the process
- Minimum of 2 years as a Technical Consultant in Life Insurance
- Experienced in formal coaching and mentoring
- Experienced in formal quality audits or file reviews
- Experience in working across multiple policies
- Excellent interpersonal skills
