THE ROLE:
- Taking full ownership of several teams within Workers Compensation, managing Team Leaders, as well as an Injury Management and Technical Expert
- Providing advice and guidance to Team Leaders, supporting their career development
- Overseeing business plan initiatives in relation to claims strategies
- Meeting financial objective through monitoring costs and RTW claims and control of claims leakage
- Undertaking claims reporting and implement strategies to remedy any areas of improvement
- Overseeing risk and compliance, ensuring all controls are robust and identifying opportunities to improve
- Meeting clients quarterly to review claims and discuss performance
- Taking responsibility for more complex/sensitive claims
ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- Preferably coming from a multi-team environment, managing Team Leaders and used to managing all areas of a workers compensation team
- Fully up to date with legislation and able to provide highly technical guidance when required
- Ability to implement claims strategy, process and procedures
- Exposure to looking a business improvements, reviewing claims performance and obtaining the best outcomes
