This firm is growing everyday and currently an opportunity has arisen in Toowoomba for an experienced and qualified Financial Planner to join the friendly and successful team on a permanent basis.
This role will focus on servicing, retaining and providing ongoing advice to clients, developing relationships with referral partners and prospecting new opportunities through your strong business development expertise.
Key Duties include:
Provide highly ethical and sophisticated client centric focused financial advice to both new and an existing portfolio of clients with the full support of a dedicated client services team to assist you.
Manage client relationship by identifying individual client needs and servicing these needs in a manner which ensures value to client as demonstrated by high client retention rate, new client referrals and additional inflow or service provision (eg, insurance).
Prepare investment and strategic advice to clients in accordance with current legislative, industry and corporate professional standards. Updates the underlying assumptions within their plans and aligns the portfolio to ensure the achievement of the clients' long-term financial objectives. Ensures that recommendations are executed correctly.
Maintaining high professional compliance standards that satisfy legislative industry and corporate requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline - in line to meet FASEA requirements (MANDATORY)
Proven experience providing financial advice to clients and have satisfactory audit reports
High level of internal motivation and drive to meet and exceed client expectations and business performance requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong business acumen, high ethics, be a strong team player and be familiar with current legislation governing Financial Planning
A book of clients for purchase would be ideal but not a deal breaker.
