My client is a highly reputable market leading superannuation provider with a national presence and currently a highly rewarding permanent opportunity has arisen for a Advice Team Leader to be based in the trendy Melbourne CBD offices. This is an opportunity not to be missed.
The advice team leader will be effectively responsible for leading, coaching and managing a team of 6 passionate and phone based superannuation advisers. This is a unique opportunity to utilise your expertise in leadership and advice having had previous experience within either retail or superannuation. As a Team Leader you will have lots of positive energy and have excellent knowledge in the financial planning sector and be passionate about ensuring the members receive outstanding advice from the advisers and you will support the team to achieve organisational goals.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Advice, you will oversee a team of 6 superannuation advice consultants providing phone based general, limited scope and Intrafund advice to members, as well as arranging appointments with Financial Planners for members with more comprehensive advice needs. You will ensure quality monitoring of the advice calls analyzing to improve efficiency and provide constructive feedback. You will review and implement processes and service level initiatives to continuously uplift team performance and you will act as the first point of escalation for advice consultants, other administration departments and state-based staff members seeking detailed general advice, scoped (Intrafund) or comprehensive financial planning.
To be successful, you must have proven experience in a similar role leading and managing a team of financial advisers. You will have a consultative, open and honest coaching and mentoring style combined with comprehensive knowledge of superannuation, investment and insurance products and execution of financial advice strategies.
You will hold RG146 Certification, Diploma of Financial Services and Advanced Diploma of Financial Services and meet the FASEA existing advisor definition.
