Methodology


Stage One – Assignment Briefing

At the initial stage we take a detailed brief of the position requirement, deliverables required and organisational structure. We meet with the direct line manager for the position (where applicable) to discuss in depth the background, skills and behavioural attributes for the successful individual. Following this meeting we will send you a detailed brief that demonstrates our understanding of your requirements for your agreement before we move forward.

Stage Two – Sourcing Strategy

We will recommend the most appropriate sourcing strategy using a combination of our personal networks, industry contacts, traditional advertising and advanced internet search functions. The Ensure search model is designed to utilise our vast industry networks and so we will utilise our National offices and consulting teams.

Stage Three – Presentation of Long List

We recognise that the specialised industry sectors we represent are very connected at the candidate level and as such we will develop a long list of candidates with suitable experience and present them to you before contacting any individual. At this stage your organisation will have the opportunity to discuss individual candidates and add/remove any that are known to you.

Stage Four – Candidate Evaluation

From agreement on the long list we will pro actively approach candidates on the list with a consistent message on our clients brand and opportunity. We will evaluate candidates through a thorough behavioural based interview structure concentrating on prior experience, technical skills, behavioural capability, motivational, career and cultural fit

Stage Five – Candidate Presentation

We will meet with you to present our shortlisted candidates to you in person giving you the opportunity to investigate the merits of each candidate with your consultant in real detail.

Our formal report will outline our formal findings from the interview process that will include the candidates competencies, motivations, career aspirations, cultural fit, salary expectations, and any specific information you have asked us to probe on during the interview.
