Being named Recruiter of the Year (Australia), Insurance Recruiter of the Year (Australia) & Best Recruiter – Insurance (NSW) at the 2025 Sourcr Awards is something I never imagined when I first started in recruitment 18 years ago. To say I’m honoured is an understatement—this is genuinely one of those career moments I’ll never forget.
These awards mean the world to me—not just because they recognise performance, but because they’re based on real reviews from real clients and candidates. That’s what makes them so meaningful. It’s not just about filling roles. It’s about building trust, delivering outcomes, and being part of people’s careers and businesses in a deeply personal way.
On top of this personal recognition, to see Ensure Recruitment named Insurance Recruitment Agency of the Year – Australia and NSW Insurance Agency of the Year (for the second year in a row!), Mitchell Foster being named Insurance Recruiter of the Year (NZ) and Lorraine Backhouse being named Best Recruiter – Insurance (SA) makes this recognition even more special and a huge testament to the incredible team I’m lucky to be a part of.
