External Loss Adjuster - Regional South Australia

What the role involves:

• Providing field-based assessment and investigation of commercial insurance losses
• Liaising with policyholders regarding their claims.
  Examining claims forms, policies, and endorsements, client instructions, and other records to determine coverage.
• Investigating claims by interviewing claimants and witnesses, obtaining official reports, inspecting physical damage, and comparing claim information with evidence.
• Set loss reserves and control claims costs
  
  

What experience you will bring:

• Strong technical skills to assess the cause and repair of damage
• Previous experience in a loss adjusting role, around 4/5 years +
• Ability to produce reports for the insurer to evaluate losses
• Experience in building strong relationships with all stakeholders
• A solid understanding of adjusting/property claims
• Ability to demonstrate strong client relationships with your network to build business and be the trusted loss adjusting adviser
