About the role:

• Assisting case managers in progressing their claims from a medical perspective.
• Case conferencing medical cases with other treating professionals such as GPs / Occupational Rehab professionals 
• Approving surgery requests from injured workers
• Training and coaching case managers to improve their medical knowledge. 
• Assisting injured workers to get back to pre-injury health 

About you: 

• Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation and APRHA registration 
• An ability to understand injuries and recommend rehabilitation treatment.
• Excellent communication skills to take complex medical terminology and explain this in an easy to understand language.
• The ability to work in a fast pace environment with conflicting priorities.
