About the role:

• Reviewing the existing IDR/compliance process, making and implementing recommendations
• Taking the manual system into a fully automated compliance system, including reporting
• Leading projects within the compliance area
• Working closely with Underwriters, Product Managers, Claims and all areas of the business to discuss processes 
• Ensuring the whole business is engaged in the compliance framework
• Drafting contracts with service providers
• Supporting and coaching a team member

 
About you:

• You thrive in environments where change is the norm, due to business growth
• You engage with stakeholders to listen and communicate outcomes and the pathway to get there
• Problem solver, through process improvement, enjoying leading and being part of projects
• A believer in taking the team with you, using an inclusive and transparent approach
• Experienced compliance/IDR leader within general insurance
• Ideally legally qualified, however this is not essential
• Having the gravitas and confidence to make decisions, understanding outcomes
• Enjoy working autonomously, as well as sharing ideas with your manager and colleagues.
