A leading national insurance services business is growing its Recoveries team and looking for an experienced insurance professional to join its Sydney or Brisbane office.

Whether you're already working in Recoveries or have built strong experience within General Insurance Claims, this is an opportunity to develop your expertise within a growing specialist team.

Candidates with experience across Motor, Property, Home & Contents or Commercial Property Claims are encouraged to apply, with specialist Recoveries training provided.

The role:

• Manage your own portfolio of insurance recovery matters
• Recover costs across a diverse General Insurance portfolio
• Negotiate recoveries with insured and uninsured parties
• Review claims and determine the appropriate recovery approach
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage documentation, follow-ups and recovery timelines
• Drive matters through to settlement, pursuit or closure
• Contribute towards shared team recovery targets

What we're looking for:

• General Insurance Claims or Recoveries experience
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end claims lifecycle
• Experience across Motor, Property, Home & Contents or Commercial Property highly regarded
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Confident stakeholder management
• Ability to manage your own portfolio and competing priorities
• Proactive, persistent and commercially minded
