Senior Claims Manager Financial Lines

What you will be doing:

• Managing a portfolio of financial lines claims: predominantly D&O, with some professional indemnity
• Supporting team members, by providing claims advice
• Assessing liability and claims reserves
• Putting together a claims strategy and discussing with underwriters
• Proactively managing the claim to ensure claims costs are kept to a minimum
• Working across other claims teams with shared clients
• Liaising with all stakeholders, insurers, brokers, clients and lawyers
• Negotiating positive claims outcomes

 
What you can bring to the role:

• Solid experience in managing D&O claims
• Knowledge of law and different state jurisdictions 
• Ability to interpret policy and exclusions
• Strong negotiation skills together with a high level of stakeholder engagement
• Experience in supporting team members
