Senior Claims Officer - Professional Indemnity & Financial Lines

The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Claims Officer to join an established team within a leading insurance organisation. This position is available in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne and offers the chance to manage a diverse and complex claims portfolio. As a Senior Claims Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end claims process, with a particular focus on liability claims and Professional Indemnity.
In this role, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, advisors, and customers, providing guidance to junior staff and ensuring claims are handled efficiently and professionally.

Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in managing liability and Professional Indemnity claims within the insurance industry (3-5 years of experience is ideal).
• Ability to mentor and support less experienced team members.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A focus on delivering excellent customer service while managing complex claims.
• Holding a Law degree
