Liability Claims Specialists - Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane

Join a high-performing claims team based in Melbourne CBD, managing a specialist portfolio of Public Liability Claims. You will be working alongside a team of highly skilled Claims Managers,  learn from the best, strengthening your skills. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

THE ROLE:

• Working closely with a team of experienced public liability claims managers, you will manage claims from end to end. 
• Determining liability on claims and providing recommendations for future claims strategies 
• Ensuring the best possible outcome in all targets: QA, Customer, Quality, and Financial
• Conducting legal reviews on litigated claims with service providers

KEY CRITERIA:  

• 2-3 years of experience managing public liability claims 
• Legal qualifications (preferred, not essential) 
• Experience in managing litigated claims (highly desirable)
• A Solid understanding of the Insurance Code of Practice and Insurance Contracts Act 
• Confident interpersonal/communication skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• End-to-end claims management experience
